Welcome to The Meri Lakeside.  

After stints as Sunrise Wellington Lake House and Lakeside PEC, we've settled on this moniker for our 1950's bungalow in Prince Edward County, an amalgam of our first initials.  We fell in love with PEC years ago, and in 2015, embarked on a top to bottom renovation of the property, in pursuit of idyllic County bliss.  We opened walls, enlarged windows and restored the original stone fireplace hearth to achieve a mix of beauty, comfort and practicality.  Above all, we wanted to pay our respects to magnificent Lake Ontario, in all her splendour.
 

One of the best features of The Meri is that you can be tucked away by the lake in privacy, or immersed in all of the County's incredible offerings, with many prime attractions only minutes away.  We love sharing our cottage with our guests and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. While our Airbnb and VRBO bookings are managed by the team and Sandbanks Vacations, we're always available to answer questions about the property and area.  Reach out anytime!
